TimelyCare: Free 24/7 Virtual Mental Health Care

Through our virtual health platform, all current Luna students have FREE, 24/7/365 access to flexible telehealth services. You don't need insurance, and you can access care right from your smartphone or computer during breaks, holidays, or late at night.

  • Medical Now: On-demand support for common health issues, including cold, flu, and allergies. 
  • TalkNow: On-demand, 24/7 emotional support to chat with a professional about anything on your mind.
  • Scheduled Medical: Choose the day, time, and medical provider that best works for you. 
  • Scheduled Counseling: Book up to 6 free, private virtual therapy sessions per academic year with a licensed mental health provider of your choice.
  • Health Coaching: Develop healthy lifestyle behaviors, including nutrition, sleep habits, time management, and mindfulness

Local Care Coordination & On-Campus Support

If you prefer to start with a friendly face on campus, our local Luna Strong team is here to guide you. We help dismantle barriers to care by providing localized assessments and direct navigation to community clinics.

  • Student Success Specialist: Connect with Renee Maestas, LSW, in the Student Services Center (Room 109) at (505) 454-5355. Renee works one-on-one with students to coordinate targeted mental and behavioral health resources.
  • Luna Strong Coordinator: Contact Crystal Western Ford, CHW, in the Allied Health Building (Room MO-8) at 505-454-2527. Crystal helps students access resources such as food, help with utilities or rent and other basic needs.  Crystal is a Community Health Worker. 
  • Highlands Student Health Center: Take advantage of our direct partnership with NMHU’s Student Health Center (505) 454-3218 for affordable, local in-person behavioral health counseling.
