Our Core Services

Facilities & Maintenance manages several vital functions that keep Luna Community College running smoothly and safely:

  • Campus Maintenance & Groundskeeping: We maintain all institutional buildings, mechanical systems, walkways, and landscapes, ensuring our campus remains highly functional, accessible, and aesthetically pleasing year-round.

  • Campus Security & Public Safety: Your safety is our top priority. Our security team monitors campus properties, manages emergency preparedness, assists visitors, and ensures a secure environment for everyone on campus.

  • Facility Reservations & Community Rentals: We believe our campus belongs to the community. We manage the scheduling, setup, and public reservation of LCC classrooms, lecture halls, athletic facilities, and outdoor spaces for external events.

Reserving Facilities for Public Use

Luna Community College proudly opens its doors to local organizations, businesses, and community members looking to host educational, cultural, or civic events. We offer a variety of versatile spaces equipped with modern technology and flexible seating.

How to Book a Space

  1. Review our Administrative Use of Facilities document below.
  2. Discuss Availability: Contact our facilities administrator to discuss dates, spatial needs, and technical requirements.
  3. Submit a Request: Complete the official Request for Use of Institutional Facilities at least 10 business days prior to your event.
    • Permits & Insurance: Depending on the nature of the event, proof of liability insurance and compliance with campus usage policies may be required.
