Earn High School and College Credit: Transfer Credits or Apply towards an LCC Certificate or Degree

Courses in the common core of general education are guaranteed to transfer to all New Mexico four-year universities!

  • No tuition or registration fees
  • To sign up, must be a junior or senior; have a minimum required GPA of 2.0, and be at least 16 years old
  • You buy any necessary books, supplies and pay any other course fees
  • You may be eligible to take two courses between the hours of 8am to 3pm, Monday thru Friday
  • You will also need your local high school approval to receive free tuition

*Under exceptional circumstances, psychologically/emotionally prepared and mature students under age 16 who are currently high school freshman or sophomores may also be considered for dual-credit enrollment in college level courses

Get Started Today In Three Easy Steps!

    1. Take the COMPASS Assessment Test which can be taken at your high school,LCC,or bring in your ACT scores.
    For dates and times call LCC Access Center (505) 454-254

    2. Fill out an LCC enrollment packet
    Get the packet from your high school counselor or from the local LCC Satellite Coordinator
    Complete all forms and get all necessary signatures
    Take your enrollment package to the Access Center

    3. Go to LCC
    Attend a New Student Orientation.
    New Student Orientation for Fall Semester will be held on August 17, 2007 @ 7:45 am

Then, all you do is attend class!
