CUL115 - Serv-Safe Certification

Previously offered as CUL102.

A short course in the fundamentals of serving safe food and protecting the customer from injury and food-borne illness. Students will learn how to receive, store, cook, hold and serve food in a safe manner. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Serv-Safe certification in food safety and sanitation. Pre- or corequisite: READ105 or equivalent COMPASS/ACT score.
